Montreal Canadiens winger Patrik Laine had some choice words for Sweden after today's Four Nations faceoff victory.

Through three games at the Four Nations faceoff we have already seen two games go to overtime, increasing the drama and excitement of the event.

Today it was Sweden and Finland that required the extra period as the game was deadlocked at 3 at the end of regulation.

This has proven to be a problem for the players, as many NHL stars have come out against the tournament's overtime rules.

Unfortunately for the players though, they do not have a say in the format of the event.

That being said, it was Sweden who fell in overtime for the second time already, after they lost to Canada by the same score in the opener.

First is was Mitch Marner who broke Sweden's hearts and now Mikael Granlund has joined him.

One player who stood out in particular during the game was Patrik Laine, who recorded two assists and was named 2nd star of the game.

Laine was interviewed by ESPN reporter Emily Kaplan after the game. Kaplan started off her question by calling Sweden a 'big brother' to Finland, which got a funny response from the Finn.

Laine answered the question by saying that Finland is the big brother now.

With the win, Finland now has two points through two games after losing in regulation to Team USA.

Sweden also has two points with overtime loses to both Canada and Finland, and the US leads the tournament with three points thanks to their regulation victory in game one.

Tonight, Canada and the USA will face off for the most anticipated game of the event so far.

A USA victory in regulation would secure a spot in the finals and put Canada in jeopardy of missing out. A Canadian regulation victory would effectively secure a spot in the finals as well, but theoretically they could still miss out on a tiebreaker depending on how Sweden's and Finland's final games of the round robin go.
