Brady Tkachuk is one of the hottest names in the NHL right now, and according to a top insider, that could lead him to depart the Ottawa Senators in the near future.

The past few weeks have made Brady Tkachuk one of the biggest names in the NHL to the casual audience, and he's hoping to parlay that into plenty of regular season and Stanley Cup Playoffs success with the Ottawa Senators.

However, top NHL Insider Andy Strickland has suggested that his days with the Sens may be numbered, and that when he hits free agency, he'll look to go team up with his brother Matthew, who is locked into a long-term deal with the Florida Panthers.

The former No. 4 overall pick is in his seventh year with the Ottawa Senators, and thus far they've not made it to the Stanley Cup Playoffs one time, and after the excitement and the rush that came with playing best-on-best at the Four Nations, it would not be a shock to see him want more of that at the NHL level.

In 496 games thus far, Tkachuk has tallied 183 goals and 393 points, and appears to be settling in at the NHL level as a consistent 70-85 point scorer, and given the leadership and the physicality he brings to the table, it's easy to see why he's frustrated with a lack of post-season experience.

After this season, Brady has three years left on his deal that pays him $8.2 million a season, making him a free agent around the age of 28, and with Matthew still locked in to the Panthers for a further three years after that, it's safe to say that if it doesn't happen then, we may even see Brady try and force the team into moving him beforehand.
