Dylan Larkin remains with Todd McLellan's Red Wings after Detroit rejected multiple trade offers for its captain.

Minnesota can offer futures without ripping apart its current lineup. Detroit's demand effectively asks the Wild to solve one roster problem by creating another.
Vegas faces the same issue with Hertl. If Detroit doesn't view him as the right centerpiece, the Golden Knights would need to restructure the offer rather than simply add secondary assets.
Dallas has also surfaced as an intriguing possibility, with Jason Robertson mentioned as the type of established talent who could change the conversation. There is no report that such a deal is close.
Detroit's next hockey operations leader may eventually inherit the final call, adding another complication to a process already stuck over valuation.
For now, the message is clear. Larkin wants a move, interested teams are calling, and Detroit is still saying no because the return hasn't matched its demand.
