With the Predators taking on the Washington Capitals, and leading 3-1 with no time left, Novak decided he wanted to stuff the puck in the Caps' net to stir things up a bit. It had the expected effect, as Washington's Nick Jensen didn't like it at all. He retaliated by tripping Novak, causing him to go to the ice hard.
You can see in the picture below where Novak had already finished the wrap-around attempt. The puck had bounced off the end boards, and he was waiting for the rebound to shoot it again, which he did. However, the buzzer had already gone at that point.
First off, it's not a slew-foot. However, it is a dangerous trip. At the same time, it's hard to feel much sympathy for Novak as he brought it on himself and was well aware it wouldn't be ignored. You don't do this stuff after the buzzer unless you're intentionally trying to rile up your opponents.
