Evander Kane likely to be left out of Edmonton Oilers' lineup tonight

Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane is expected to miss game three versus the Florida Panthers on Thursday night.

It hasn't been the start the Oilers were hoping for in the Stanley Cup Playoffs versus the Florida Panthers after dropping both games away in Sunrise. Now, with the fate of the series in their hands, top forward Evander Kane is expected to be missing from the lineup tonight with Corey Perry returning to the fold.

Kane, was seen at yesterday's practice having a talk with Edmonton Oilers coach Kris Knoblauch.

Evander Kane has eight points in 20 games played this playoff run, a underwhelming statline, however Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl have what it takes to carry the workload.
