Buffalo, Montreal and Winnipeg were identified as potential destinations, but Bunting's fit reaches well beyond those 3 clubs.
Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey, Pittsburgh, Dallas and Boston could also examine Bunting if they want energy, net-front pressure and secondary offence.

Buffalo has the clearest opening after losing Alex Tuch and missing on Kane. Bunting could strengthen the third line without requiring a major trade package.

Pittsburgh is another natural possibility because Bunting already knows the organization. A reunion would depend on role, price and whether management wants another veteran winger.
