The NHL has been known to mess a call or two up, and while there's not been major outcry for their latest mistake, one fan on social media has picked up on something crucial.

NHL Miss Chris Kreider Empty Net Goal

During the New York Rangers last win over the Dallas Stars, the game was sitting at 3-1 with moments to go and the Stars having an empty net, and while Chris Kreider put the puck in the net, it was ruled to be just a bit too late.

Now, one fan on X has noticed that there was still 0.2 seconds left on the clock, claiming that the NHL should take a look at this and change both the score and Kreider's goal tally for the year.

Score should be 4-1 #NYR with Kreider EN goal at .2 seconds.

Can the NHL do something about this?

As mentioned by other fans in the comments, sometimes the TV clock doesn't line up perfectly with the arena clock, and therefore this could have gone in after the clock had officially expired.

In the grand scheme of things, this one certainly won't hurt either team going forward, but for Kreider looking to up his personal stats, this is something that he may want the NHL to ultimately take a look at.
