An NFL insider has revealed that Kansas City Chiefs star Isiah Pacheco may land on injured reserve after suffering a brutal injury against the Bengals.

Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco will likely be placed on injured reserve after suffering a fibula injury during Sunday's contest with the Cincinnati Bengals, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Pacheco is getting extra tests to determine the severity of the injury.

He exited the game with a minute remaining and was spotted using crutches while in a walking boot as he left the stadium. Chiefs coach Andy Reid didn't expound much post-game, other than saying Pacheco will be tested on Monday.

The 25-year-old Pacheco put on a good show, rushing for 90 yards on 19 carries, while adding five receptions on 21 yards in the 26-25 win. On the season, he's rushed for 135 yards, has one touchdown, and is averaging 4.0 yards per carry.

Listed as Isiah Pacheco's backup is Samaje Perine, who did not play Sunday. Perine joined the Chiefs after being released by the Denver Broncos during the final roster cuts.
