Connor McDavid Calls Out Taylor Swift for Disrupting Oilers Travel Plans to Toronto

Taylor Swift is bringing her tour to Toronto, and unfortunately for Connor McDavid and the Oilers, that meant major changes to their travel plans.

The Edmonton Oilers have found some momentum in recent times, and now they look to take that success on the road as they battle the Toronto Maple Leafs on Hockey Night in Canada.

Unfortunately for the Oilers, something else is currently happening in Toronto, as music star Taylor Swift is in town with the latest leg of their tour, something surprisingly effected the Oilers.

When asked about getting to Toronto, McDavid revealed that the team got on the plane early to try and beat the traffic that comes with the worldwide superstar and her tour.

Thankfully for the team, McDavid, again jokingly confirms that the team were able to beat the traffic and get to Toronto comfortably as they face the difficult task of facing the Maple Leafs on home ice.

Unfortunately for those Swifties that would love to count McDavid among their ranks, his vague answer to the question about her music likely confirms that unfortunately that isn't the case.

Thankfully for the Oilers, who are looking to find some stability and consistency in their season, they were able to avoid the headache of the additional traffic on their way to Toronto, and now with McDavid fully healthy, they've got the chance to make a big statement.

While McDavid didn't appear to be a huge fan, there's no doubting that some players out there, so we will wait and see if any of them are spotted in the crowd for her latest show in Toronto.
