Team USA have already punched their ticket to the Four Nations Championship game, and now, they've made some major changes ahead of a battle with Sweden, with the team looking to continue the impressive momentum they've built up thus far.

Through two games of the Four Nations Face Off, Team USA have outscored their opponents 9-2, having already clinched their place in the first ever Four Nations Face Off Championship Game.

However, they've still got one matchup against Sweden to go before that, and after dominating the tournament already, they've made three changes ahead of the highly anticipated matchup as the tournament shifts to Boston.

According to Frank Seravalli, there are three changes made to the lineup for this one, with Jake Oettinger, Jake Sanderson and Chris Kreider all drawing in for their first appearance of the tournament.

Even with these changes, the Team USA lineup is beyond ridiculous, and with the net front presence of Kreider coming in for the injured Matthew Tkachuk, it adds another element to their team moving forward.

In Oettinger, the team still likely posses the best goaltender of the two games played today, showing the incredible depth that they've built up in net, with their future set as Jeremy Swayman takes his place as the backup for this one.

Ultimately, this game doesn't mean much for the United States, but with their core group of players likely locked in for the 2026 Olympic Games, getting some of these players their first taste of the best-on-best in a game like this is a great move, and if the team can take down Sweden in dominant fashion, they'll be the heavy favourites to be crowned the first ever Four Nations Champions.
