Leon Draisaitl caught Auston Matthews with a cross-check to the ribs tonight in Edmonton, and Maple Leafs fans were not happy about it.
Leafs Papi shared the clip, which made the rounds among Toronto fans.
The frame shows a Leaf down on the ice with Easton Cowan, No. 53, right beside him as Draisaitl, No. 29, skates away.
It wasn't clear from the clip whether a penalty was called.
Whether or not it drew a whistle, that was a little extra from a player who never needs to take liberties.
It's like a star chef bumping the rival cook on the way past the stove. Small move, but everybody in the kitchen noticed.
Matthews came in with 18 points, including 2 game-winners.
