Penguins star Sidney Crosby was shaken up after colliding with a linesman in the opening minutes of tonight's game against Nashville.
SportsNet Pittsburgh shared the clip, which showed the veteran going down hard.
The frame shows Crosby, No. 87, down on the ice near the blue line as the official skates past.
He appeared to be okay afterward.
Nobody's fault, but that's the last thing Pittsburgh needs. The Penguins are thin enough without losing their 39-year-old star to an official.
It's like tripping over the crossing guard on the way to school. You never expect the guy keeping you safe to be the one in the way.
Crosby has 6 points on an $8,700,000 cap hit.
