Tonight a new report has come out revealing that Connor McDavid is taking major actions to get revenge on the NHL after being suspended today.

Earlier today the NHL Department of Player Safety announced that Connor McDavid would be suspended for three games after being ejected against the Vancouver Canucks.

The play in question that led to McDavid's suspension had sparked debate over the last 24 hours due to the circumstances that led to the cross-check.

McDavid hit Canucks forward Connor Garland who then seemed to try and hold McDavid down and prevent him from getting away,

This led McDavid to get frustrated and cross-check Garland as the two-star players got back to their feet.

In the aftermath of the hit, McDavid was subjected to a three-game suspension and fans were furious about the punishment believing that things should not have escalated to such heights if the referees had protected McDavid in the first place.

Now McDavid is reportedly joining fans and the media in their disgust over the decision made by the NHL and will be plotting against the league.

Sources confirm Connor McDavid will stop doing media interviews in protest of NHL

According to the 2 Mutts Hockey Podcast, a reliable source for all things Edmonton Oilers Connor McDavid and his representation are heavily considering scaling back his public appearances.

The source indicates that McDavid is not happy with the lack of protection for superstar players and is potentially going to cut back on tour events and interviews with the NHL in protest.

With McDavid being suspended for three games it remains to be seen when he will address the media again next but when he does speak to the media it will be interesting to see if he addresses these claims.
