Today three-time Stanley Cup champion Andy Moog revealed that he has been diagnosed with cancer.
3x Stanley Cup Champion, 4x NHL All-Star, Andy Moog has announced that he is battling cancer.
Moog, 63, played 713 games in the NHL from 1980-1998 with Edmonton, Boston, Dallas, and Montreal.
He also played 31 games with the Canadian National Team.

Nothing has been confirmed on the severity or type of cancer that Moog has been diagnosed with. As he begins his battle we keep him in our thoughts.
Moog's Legendary Career At A Glance
As mentioned Moog was part of three Stanley Cup champion teams. Along with his team's success, he also was excellent. He was an 8 time Vezina Finalist as well as a one-time Jennings Award winner.
Over his 713-game NHL career, he maintained a 3.14 goals-against average and a 0.891 save percentage. For the era he played in these are some of the best over a career.
