NHL TROPHIES MICHAEL-BOSSY TROPHY
Michael-Bossy TrophyBest professional hopeThe Michael-Bossy Trophy rewards each year the ice hockey player of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (LHJMQ) who is judged to be the best hope, the one with the best chances of breaking through at the professional level (NHL). The trophy bears the name of former player Michael Bossy who began his professional career in the QMJHL before winning in the National Hockey League (Calder Trophy for his first season) with the New York Islanders. He became the second player in the league to score 50 goals in 50 games after Maurice Richard and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1991.
