There was some unprecedented action on the last day before the holiday break. A feat that is nearly impossible to accomplish was done, twice in the same night.
Both star forwards for their respective teams, Trevor Zegras and Connor Bedard, showed off some major talent completing a "Michigan" goal.
Here is Trevor's goal against Seattle in their game on December 23rd.

This is Connor Bedard completing the feat against St. Louis.

It is quite a sight to see these goals being attempted and successful during an NHL regular season game.
However, Trevor added a little more Christmas spirit to his goal. During a pre-game interview with journalist Ally Lozoff, he made a promise that seems impossible to keep.
She mentions when asked what her Christmas wish was this year, one thing she mentioned was wanting a "Michigan" goal. He proves to be a man of his word and gives this reporter what she wanted for Christmas.

Making the prediction is a bold move, but completing it is on a whole new level. The difficulty of this goal at the NHL level shows how talented Trevor really is.
