BREAKING: Longtime NHLer Tragically Passes Away at 65
Some sad news to report from the hockey world as a beloved longtime NHLer and scrapper has passed away at the age of 65. News of Glen Cochrane's death was reported by one of his colleagues.
A Former NHLer who Had Loads of Penalty Minutes has Died
Cochrane was currently employed as a scout with the Anaheim Ducks organization under General Manager Pat Verbeek.

Veteran of More Than 400 Games Dies at the Age of 65
Cochrane played for other NHL teams throughout his 411 regular season games in the National Hockey League, including the Vancouver Canucks, the Chicago Blackhawks, and the Edmonton Oilers. However, he is best known for his time with the Philadelphia Flyers starting in 1978 to 1984. In 63 games during the 1981-82 season, Cochrane piled up 329 penalty minutes. Throughout his entire NHL career, his total PIM was 1556 minnutes. A quick YouTube search of his name brings up several fights that he was involved in over the years.
