Blockbuster Trade Rumour Surfaces Between Two Contending Teams

The Edmonton Oilers and Boston Bruins have had very different starts to the 2023-24 season, and with both teams having big needs, they may be able to help each other out.

While the Edmonton Oilers forward group continue to do their job well, they have struggled in net, and now, a proposed trade could help them out in a massive way.

This is a proposal that has been seen all over social media, and while on the surface it may be a steal for Edmonton, it would help both teams improve in key areas of weakness.

While Nugent-Hopkins isn't on the level of a Connor McDavid or Leon Draisaitl, he's been fantastic over the past few years, following up 104 points a season ago with 36 in 35 games thus far in 2023-24.

Beyond that, the Bruins also have great depth with Jeremy Swayman in net, and if they are inclined to move one of their top goaltenders, getting back a talented forward like RNH and a potential asset to improve even further, it's a deal that would benefit both parties.
