There's been some good news finally reported from the Perron's, as David's wife Vanessa announced the couple successfully gave birth to their miracle baby.

The best things in life often come at a price. For many parents, the journey to create life often can be riddled with setbacks and struggles, yet they often reflect that it was all worth it in the end.

Current Ottawa Senators forward David Perron and his wife, Vanessa, know this journey all too well. They have recently welcomed their fourth child, a beautiful baby girl named Elizabeth, after a difficult road filled with worry and hope.

The couple announced the birth of Elizabeth on their Instagram account. It was Vanessa who announced it first, soon after followed by David when he posted the same candid picture of Elizabeth on his Instagram stories to the song "I Get to Love You" by Ruelle, which spoke volumes about what both of them were feeling.

"Elizabeth Perron. Born on October 27th after a long delivery," her post began. "She's our little miracle and is already a fighter. We will be updating about her health at some point but would appreciate to keep our focus on our family at the moment."

"Keep praying for our little angel."

Her arrival comes after a bit of uncertainty for the Perron family. Just last month on October 5th, Vanessa shared an Instagram post announcing the major health concern weighing on them.

Admittedly, Vanessa's latest post did not mention anything about open surgery, but she and Elizabeth are in perfect health, and that is just something that shows how joyful this family is. That gained minute of bliss stands for evidence that most often the jewels of life come only with strength earned.
